Dr. Elaine N. Aron is known for her original research on the trait of High Sensitivity, and it is thanks to her books that thousands (if not millions) of HSPs now have a "name" to put with their feeling of feeling slightly "out of step" with the rest of the world. Dr. Aron has published four books:

The Highly Sensitive Person, published in 1996, remains the definitive introduction to the trait of High Sensitivity, providing a thorough explanation of the trait, and its effect on our lives.

The Highly Sensitive Person in Love explores what it means to be an HSP in the context of intimate relationships.

The Highly Sensitive Person's Workbook is a excellent companion to Aron's other books, taking readers on a structured journey of self-exploration.

The Highly Sensitive Child is Elaine Aron's most recent book, covering the area of HSP parenting, both from the perspective of raising a Highly Sensitive child, as well as being a Highly Sensitive parent.

Barrie Jaeger is an HSP and Work Purpose coach. In her book Making Work Work for the Highly Sensitive Person, she explores the challenges HSPs often face in their work lives.

Tedd Zeff, PhD is an HSP and counselor. His book The Highly Sensitive Person's Survival Guide offers practical advice and strategies to hp HSPs deal with, and thrive in, an often overstimulating world.
